About Me

I live in Greensboro, NC, USA with my wife and our university student son. Our family also includes a sweet little border collie-Rottweiler mix rescue dog and a bearded dragon.

I love to travel—our whole family does, and we’ve been fortunate to travel to Taiwan, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Peru, and the Basque Country of Spain, as well as a cross-country road trip of the USA. We have Vietnam, India, and Thailand on our short list. During my time in the Navy, I got to experience Bahrain, The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, The Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii.

I enjoy baseball a big fan of the Washington Nationals and our hometown minor league team the Greensboro Grasshoppers. I’m also an avid reader of history, especially of the middle 20th century and early United States.
